T. Thorn Coyle (President) is Co-Founder of Solar Cross Temple and former head of Morningstar Mystery School. Thorn is Author of the fantasy series The Witches of Portland and The Panther Chronicles, the novel Like Water, and two story collections. Robert Russell (Treasurer) has been a practicing Heathen for more than 10 years and is a member of the Troth. As head of Solar Cross Kindred he serves as a chaplain in the California Department Corrections at the Central California Women’s Facility. He is also a master mechanic and treasurer of Solar Cross Temple.

Crystal Blanton (Board Member) is a Wiccan High Priestess, member of the Northern California Local Council of Covenant of the Goddess and a published author living in the Bay Area. She has worked in Social Services for 15 years, specializing in addiction and counseling. Her book Bridging the Gap; Working Within the Dynamics of Pagan Groups and Society and the Shades of Faith; Minority Voices in Paganism anthology are currently available through Immanion Press. Elena Rose, (Board Member) originally hailing from rural Oregon, has distinguished herself as a political and theological writer with a focus on the intersections between colonial history, race, gender, and queer liberation. Between touring nationally as an acclaimed preacher and educator, and working as an interfaith minister, she emphasizes a compassionate approach rooted both in deep scholarship and a commitment to making that work broadly accessible. Elena serves on the board of Trans Lifeline. Elena lives and labors in California’s Bay Area, and is currently finishing her first full-length book, a study of the monster stories we tell and the ways they can hurt and heal the people who live at the edges of society.
Jason Thomas Pitzl (Board Member) is an artist and writer, currently living in Oregon. He is perhaps best known for founding the Pagan journalism outlet The Wild Hunt, and hosting the music podcast ‘A Darker Shade of Pagan.’ He contributed a chapter to the book “Pop Pagans: Paganism and Popular Music” in 2013.
